LLDC QUALITY REVIEW PANEL

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park © LLDC

The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is responsible for regeneration of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and its surrounding neighbourhoods - securing a lasting legacy for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Development is now forging ahead in and around the park. Inspiring plans are taking shape for Hackney Wick and Fish Island, Pudding Mill and Bromley by Bow, as well as for a new cultural and education district that will bring world class institutions to Stratford.

The LLDC is committed to excellence in architecture and design – and since 2012 the Quality Review Panel has been helping it to create well designed places that both benefit and delight all those who use them. The panel tests the fundamental design principles of planning proposals both at pre-application stage and also as part of the application process.

The Quality Review Panel is co-chaired by Teresa Borsuk, a Senior Advisor at Pollard Thomas Edwards, and Hari Phillips, Founding Director, Bell Phillips Architects.
